Study: Religion Is Good for Kids

Kids with religious parents are better behaved and adjusted than other children, according to a new study that is the first to look at the effects of religion on young child development.

Amazing when science proves what we've known all along!

No, we push our unhappiness and poor behavior deep deep down inside to our inner core where it belongs.

(kidding -- not really, but hopefully kidding for my kids -- it's a delicate balance, right? "be this way" versus "be creative like God made you")

I always thought it was more like....parents who are good examples of kind and moral behavior are good for kids, as opposed to religion generally, but that's just me.

Of course, we can see in the Middle East where religion is not necessarily good for kids. Especially in those photographs where the kids are dressed as terrorists, complete with faux assault weapons.

It all depends upon perspective.
