Not Living Up To The Hype

Every single person in my office recommended The Dark Knight.

"It's the single best movie of the year."
"Heath Ledger is genius."
"You MUST see this film."
"What!?!?! You haven't seen it yet?!?!?!"

Even the kid at Blockbuster was in on the marketing. "You are going to love it. I can't believe you haven't seen it yet!"

I could go on. But I won't. Because I hated this film. In twenty minutes, I was done. At an hour, I wanted my money back.

I. Watched. The. Whole. Damn. Thing.

I'd like those two-and-a-half hours of my life back, please.

I have to agree with ya there. Not much to see. Heath Ledger was the best Joker yet, but ... yeah. Disappointing movie. And confusing why so many people love it SO much.

Curious if you've seen either of the new Bond movies. For me, a much better cinematic waste of a couple hours.

I haven't seen any of the new Bond films. I can't even remember seeing any of the Remington-Steele-as-James-Bond movies.
